My Dear Children is based on the written account of Feiga Shamis, a Jewish mother of 10 who lived in the Russian Empire in what is now Ukraine.  Feiga's story is one of trauma and survival, and it is unknowingly shared by many.  Many who have seen My Dear Children wish to have the physical book because they share Feiga's story.  But, shipping is expensive.  This is a way to read the story but avoid the shipping.
